More Than Just Pretty Boys
I have finally finished watching BoysOverFlowers and i have one word to say: AWESOME! Thumbs up X10. Despite me already knowing what was going to happen and the ending(Taiwan ver left very deep impression), there were several nice surprises and somehow the language Korean sounds more romantic than Chinese. Haha. It has been a long while since i had the urge to buy a show's dvd so that i can rewatch whenever i want to. I totally love the way they portray Yoon Ji Hoo! Very meticulous and touching. It's kind of like Bella and Jacob in Twilight but with a sad ending. Actually even better than that. One turn off was that their eye bags and dark circles were extremely obvious esp JanDi's since she's so fair.And their acting skills were better than expected too! Before i watched BOF, my sis was chasing this reality show We Got Married which made KimHyunJoong(JiHoo) popular hence him getting his role in BOF. In the reality show, he's real character is so extremely different from that of YoonJiHoo! And you can really see the difference and his efforts in acting.
In case you're wondering, i'm a GooJunPyo+JanDi fan while my sis is a YoonJiHoo+JanDi fan so yeah, i specially like to make fun of JiHoo's glasses and blue eyeshadow infront of her. Haha. My sis always cry whenever JiHoo and JanDi are tgt/JiHoo thinks abt JanDi and she loves it when JunPyo and JanDi quarrels. TskTsk. I only cried when JunPyo was in the hospital and his sis confronted his mom who realises she knows nothing abt her son. And the JiHoo and his grandfather part.
WATCH THIS! It's a fan made video abt JiHoo+JanDi and it actually made me feel sad for JiHoo. Aye. And and and, I LOVE THE SONG - Why Did I Fall In Love With You by DBSK.
Doesnt the video makes you want to go watch BOF? Go watch go watch go watch! Totally worth it and it's more than just pretty boys. If you want to make a drama, go all the way and make it as different from reality as possible. Isnt that why people watch dramas, to get away from reality? I stayed up till 5am to watch pls. Haha.
